I have nothing against retired soldiers, former politicians, boffins or public servants. They all have their place.
But in these days of "diversity" one aspect of it is missing. The board needs business acumen, aggression and a focus on making money for shareholders. They need a businessman (woman, person thingy, or whatever pronoun it wants).
EOS has burdened itself with a large need for cash for Starlink and no way to get it. It seems to have some good technology but can't sell it. They don't need a strategic advisor. If those around the table can't see and fix the problem they should move back into public service or whatever.
