Everything is looking pretty ugly atm we might see 8c but i doubt it. There would have to be financial armageddon (maybe) or horrible drill results. But i take solace in the fact that after the ann of the JV with Ok Tedi in '10 we moved from 7c to 11c or somewhere around there and Andewa was still in the future. That to me is a base for the SP and as DH mentioned we are much more advanced coy since then.

Obviously this doesnt take into accout external factors, but a drop of 30% because of external factors would mean the asx200 would drop off another 10-15% (circa 3400) in a short time frame and unless you are Martis i dont see that happening just yet.

IMHO if we went to as low as 8c there would have to be something inherently wrong with our fundamentals or world finances would be totally off the map in which case the POG would go higher and that thankfully, is what we are looking for and digging up! I picked up some more at 11.5 today. Maybe this validates your point, but its Friday afternoon and I felt like writing a bit of a spiel.
