Dreamer you are spot on and cross has nothing to do with shorting. My bad if you read my message that way. The point I was trying to make and I could be wrong here the BOT trading did not exist in my trading time. I can only assume that shorters now use BOT trading to move the SP up and down as they see fit. Shorting 20 years ago did not involve BOT trading.
