JV partner is Brazil - i have no clue just summizing the Messiah fully new the position before bidding for the shelves therefore new he would have to have a soild back-up to drill with.
As for BG the Messiah wouldn't entertain them as in life you never look in the rearvision mirror - they had their chance and whilst most of the Messiah's are forgiving in nature( the theology students will bakc that up) somehow i think this world of high energy Gas sees different playing field for the new Messiah and he may not be as forgiving to BG.
Conoco a logical option for the JV - who knows it is pure speculation. What is for sure is that is that he has a stratergy or he wouldn't have got the shelves knowing the level of activity the Compnay would need to acheive over the next 3 years.
I agree with you regarding a blocking stake of high shareholders - sadly $10 unders their nose has the same effect as it does to smaller holders in at a lower base??
I hope you are right though and the Messiah can bring home the entire pig and not just the bacon as he deserves too - he wouldn't have earnt the nickname of the Messiah if we just chomped on the leg of pork!!!!!!!!
