Good on you SRC and Swanny - nice summaries and agree with your sentiments entirely SRC. Interested to know if you have anything further to add about Brazil JV partners though Swanny - sounds as though you have heard whispers?
Obviously BG is well placed in Brazil and have no doubt been following Karoon progress very closely since the messiah rejected them from the Browse blocks. Possibly second time around they will strike up a partnership, or will we continue to dance with Conoco.
As far as takeovers go, I can potentially see a number of blocking stakes, including Talbot (its not like he needs the money so he would hold out until he saw full value imo) and management themselves, so I don't think we would see it go cheaply if someone was to have a crack, rather the reserves would be fully priced due to the competition for them. Like you Deansy, I am still dreaming of the $56 mark (hopefully it is more of a premonition).
