costs will come down substantially from here SG. that is the point you are missing. Miners now have power to set lower wages as the unemployment rate rises in the industry. Friend of mine works at Lihir and reckons all the problems are now ironed out there also. Markets always look 12 months ahead and NCM will bottom out and turn long before the gold price does. Just like on the highs a few years ago NCM made its top 7 months before gold made its peak. Food for thought. NCM will be green again today I think.
