You paint a bleak picture SG. If gold stays down and goes down further, yes, things are not good. If gold falls to 800, then 400 and stays there, then NCM will go bust, easily calculated.

But what if wild inflation appears and there is a savage rebound in gold? What if there is a take over? What about the combination of a take over and gold rebound?

Each to their own as you commonly say, but I am willing to play with this after a 42% recent fall, a 70% fall since last September and 75% fall since last February 2012 and a 80% fall since 2010 high.

Your preference is to short this stock and make it work for you. I am thinking of a long position. We are both speculating.
