Understand where you are coming from but if DB has info to share, he is duty bound to inform the market. Fact is, he just doesn't have anything NOPTA related that isn't already out there.

Here are a couple of myths:-

1. KP is waiting on BPH/Advent - myth, he is not waiting on anything. While the Jan 2020 application is at "JA for final decision", KP has everything he needs. If he doesn't, he tells NOPTA, and they return the status to "Further Information Required".
2. DB is kept informed - myth, under protocol, KP and DB, cannot and do not speak to each other. DB can ofcourse talk to NOPTA who can provide updates (or lack of) or pass information to the JA if necessary but DB will only find out the decision once KP hands it's to NOPTA.

We all want NOPTA to drop ASAP, many of us since the JA handed down their recommendation in August 2020. But, patience is actually all we have. Reality is that the budget will take precedence over PEP11. The Hunter by-election may also take precedence over PEP11. Exactly when KP thinks is the right time is going to be up to him but personally I am resigned to the view that it won't be in May, fingers crossed that it will be June as long as some other shit show doesn't bob up and derail it again.
