For those of you that haven't twigged, Carbon Capture requires depleted reservoirs.
Step 1: find a reservoir
Step 2: drill a well
Step 3: recover / produce hydrocarbons (if you don't there is no void which means you cannot progress to Step 4)
Step 4: reinject any Carbon Dioxide into the depleted reservoir.

Now, about the economics. The biggest project in Australia is Chevron's Gorgon gas project. Chevron has spent billions on developing that field and using CCS but guess what? IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!!

Why doesn't the Chevron project CCS work properly? It is all about the geology. The rocks haven't done what they are supposed to do.

So, if any of you bunnies in the headlights still think that there is a snowball's chance of BPH doing CCS on PEP11, I would strongly encourage you to do some genuine research on your own, any in fact.
