@OogerBooger There hasn't been an environmentally friendly energy source since the water wheel was phased out. All we have today is a range of sources that start at bad and end at really bad. The really bad ones are on their way out and most rational people understand that there is a transition period that ensures dispatchable power is available until the least bad types are reliable. We all understand your ideology and most agree, it's just your logistics that won't get support here. Investors in PEP11 recognise that gas is the transition feedstock that will enable coal fired power stations to be closed while new technology reaches maturity. In the transition period, CO2 will be captured and stored as part of 2050 targets. You can push your barrow on here as long as you want, we've seen all this before from other like minded individuals and no doubt there will be more to come after you have lost interest.
