Yes I was referring to the Labor-favourite electorates next to the Newcastle drill area.
If they approve before the election then they could spruik in their campaign about more jobs and their commitment to net zero by approving a major potential CCS project, which could sway fence-sitting Labor voters. So that could be a potential positive with minimal loss in the electorates adjacent to the permit. However like you said if the other currently Liberal coastal electorates are also involved then maybe there is merit in delaying or rejecting.
