I was just thinking that all of these coal mining projects being approved in NSW are going to require CCS. So I did a little bit of research. If you take a look at this NSW government link https://www.regional.nsw.gov.au/meg/industry-support/coal-innovation/carbon-capture-and-storage it says "CCS will enable NSW to manage coal resources in a sustainable manner and will enable coal to continue to contribute to the NSW economy in a carbon-constrained world. By reducing emissions from industry, CCS will also help with the transition to low-carbon electricity generation."


Further down the page it includes another link to "Facts about CCS"which includes this section. The date of the Document is February 2018, but I imagine these documents are reviewed for currency.
