    This is probably the one RIGHT thing that has such strong bipartisan support. Yes at the end of the day, as tech improves, the cost to make renewables will slowly drop, but it will not drop overnight.

    It’s simple maths. When you introduce more supply of anything, the price of that good will drop. More gas being supplied will result in cheaper energy prices for manufacturing overall, which would result in them being able to pay their workers better, which in turn reinvigorates the economy as people spend more money locally.

    With the Greens approach, while superficially, it seems like it’s all fine and dandy taking care of the environment, the environment is not gonna pay your bills. What’s gonna pay the bills is jobs, and investment into infrastructure that will stimulate the economy and the energy sector overall.
