It's inconceivable that pep-11 won't have come up in the conversation. If KP didn't get a briefing from the horse's mouth on all the things they have in the pipeline for his consideration then I can't imagine what happened.
When ministers visit departmental offices they don't like to wander the corridors and mix with the plebs, they stay ensconed with the senior execs in their nice corner offices.
