When I started trading Aus markets, I traded everything like somehow the more tickers & derivatives I traded the more money I would make.
Later on I settled down to stocks & CFD's however still traded a 15-25 book.
Around the time (15yrs back) I was in front of successful covered call advocate - Daniel Kirtcher selling me his methodology.
He explained that rather than picking up pennies, from forward tests, he had the confidence in his trading plans risk:reward to the degree that he now felt comfortable sitting out of the market waiting for the big play. When it presented he would pull out the bazooka, set up and make returns far in excess of any diversified model.
For mine, to ride a "Disallowed" to fruition, trade participants need to understand the FA to the extend that they can sleep at night knowing the fluctuations along the way are just that.
