that’s a fascinating graphic @64eheh, the two countries that really stood out for me were Japan’s rapid rise up the chart and the incredible production rate in China over the past twenty years. I decided to find out how much steel is used in car production and it’s an average of 900kg per car. No wonder they bought so much iron ore from us and that’s not counting infrastructure, trains, ships etc etc. Also thought the US was interesting ... at the top for so long then overtaken by Japan then regained the top for a short period. I must look up who was in the WHouse during those times. Also the decline of Europe (including the UK) and rise of Asia and Sth America. Thanks
