JESUS this is carnage; market is saying this is definitely the end of the economic nirvana we have seen. Not seeing any signs of a quick recovery from this .......
SCARY TIMES
Just tried to offload a few bank hybrids from SMSF .... COMMSEC could not even accept order in a timely manner on an illiqid hybrid. (its "only 2 years of dividends" from recent highs the little voice in my head is saying .... who knew stop losses needed on bank hybrids?? ...... & that they would be "gapped down")
XFJ down 9.3% .... all those mums and dads that have been tipped into bank shares ..... much less all those who DON'T invest in Mr Market & go to access that Super fund & its tumbled 10. 20, 30% or more ..... they DO invest in the SM apparently.
