This is in keeping with the fact that we are embracing MMT or the Modern Monetary Theory which basically calls for stimulating business activities by "printing" or increasing money supply in our local currency......It is important to maintain our economic sovereignty in this process , otherwise we will be subsidizing foreign owners.
A good look at the pros & cons of MMT is worthwhile .....It will replace the mainstream economic thinking.
