How much of the crazy volatility recently can be attributed to these trading platforms that allow low/free fee trading in small numbers of shares, particularly intraday volatility in small cap stocks?
It seems if they get an order to sell 20 shares, they just throw it on the market and accept the bid. Crazy watching a share drop 3 to 4% on a 20 share transaction. I see it multiple times a day, and requires new strategy (not sure what that strategy may be yet).
Shares are rising/falling significantly on sentiment with zero fundamentals being applied.
Anyone got any new "rules" to survive this madness?
