A few interesting things overnight.

I wanted the gold price to come off as it has had seven up days - it came off 20 cents. I use the World Spot price. And that was after I had watched the blessed thing for a couple of hours....

Yuan just nudging out the top against the US dollar. Not enough to call it a clear break yet.

Oil price a bit firmer. Bear in mind that the oil price is sitting on the very long term downtrend. In my notes yesterday, one could see from the B.Com chart what a move it had once the long term downtrend was broken. Unable to forecast that oil would do exactly the same but we also know what can happen in these markets when something hits the headlines.

XJO is going to be interesting over the next few days. Just running up a little line here.
