Banks usually are weaker on rising rates. Notice how quickly they pass on rises to borrowers but are usually somewhat slower when passing on reductions. I am going to see what they are offering today on six month term deposits. I wonder if I will get a pleasant surprise. Yes that is meant to be funny!
