I agree with the possibility. I remember when Trump was President before the us interest rate rises started and the US Fed were under pressure to raise rates from the economists. Trump said he would sack them if they raised rates under his watch
The US Fed complied with no rate rises during his term
With the election I can see pressure on the Fed to lower rates but will that be pre election or post election. the republicans will want the economy struggling pre election so who knows
The democrats have seemed happy with the rate rises with Biden stating that inflation is the biggest issue faced by the West and an even bigger issue than the issue posed by Russian conflict. tell that to poor Ukraine.
