I know gj - has kept my mind occupied for weeks. I think the thing that helped me decide ultimately on "Muddle Through" is simply there seemed to be so much agreement from every analyst or economist I read, that there was just no alternative to a recession. We might still have one but with so many people aware that the problems are so huge, perhaps the Fed might be awake at the wheel. Or it may not be serious enough to cause a complete melt-down.
