Yesterday I saw a recommendation to buy heavily shorted stocks.
The SILVER developers shares (and producers for that matter) are almost all heavily shorted, not in the obvious way, but by the paper trading on the COMEX. Artificial depression of the silver price that drives investment in mining the commodity has the same effect as a hedge fund shorting a stock directly.
This has been happening in other commodities too - the latest of course is copper, but also includes to a lesser extent Gold and other metals.
