FWIW I also happened to notice quite a few diamond patterns when I did my chart run through on weekend. Not something I "look for" or tend to see too often. Actually looked up some chart pattern cheat sheets & there is quite a few different views on them.

-Some believe that "any shape diamomd" qualifies unlike PB definition that requires parallel boundaries.

-Many indicate that the price Highs and lows should be at the apex and low point of the diamond e.g. from "Wiley_Trading_Encyclopedia_of_Chart_Patterns_nd_Edition_2005"
