I watch the most bearish reading which is 0 ( hedged ) - no one wants to bet against this bull which means less short exposure protecting the downside.
Leveraged shorts have been forced to cover now for some time- leveraged longs will be forced to sell if a down move occurs.
They could also be right and deserve the ' genius ' tag pb assigns.
