thanks Dave the real fear i have is what happens to the spx and gold post top this has been a massive run in the spx from gfc 666. what happens when it turns and how long will it last it just keeps rising gold now going up and the spx has been green for years it has always ended up as one or the other
in the meantime i am not arguing with all this green and gold
reminds me of the chart of the 1920s. there was a big price to pay in the end and more recently post 1980
bhp predict 2028 will be green for copper. how long will this run last i wonder. until 2028 and beyond on poor supply and strong demand metrics
post 1980 we saw not one but two recessions. the dow and copper suffered for awhile but quickly resumed their uptrends. gold was the one killed off for years
but look at this run in commods from 2000. it coincided with USD peaking in 2002 and then undergoing a multi year fall. we are now in the middle of a multiyear tail spin in the USD thanks to the fed and its rates cycle so still quietly confident/hopeful ?
