I think the new buzzwords entering the new year will be India, Russia's deteriorating quagmire, debt,gold, silver, battery metals,uranium, energy (as usual), but the new big ones will be............

Immigration and degrowth.

Immigration, we now have Jamie Dimon of GS coming out and saying that immigration levels are too high and as Brexit has shown, discontent is building towards it. Tipping point is coming.

Degrowth will be the new buzzword. Joseph Stiglitz, oen the worlds foremost economists, is now on the bandwagon that population and economies need to downsize. It's happening slowly in the western world as birth rates continue to decline, so the day of degrowth is approaching sooner or later.
