Too true Dave. We loved our cattle - Murray Greys (derived from Angus cows of course). They had a great life, except for one bad day at the end. That's better than most of us.
We're also conflicted (like you & PB) about overseas live cattle. Finding the balance between their welfare and the export income from station owners who legitimately try to do the right thing by their stock, is a tough one.
