Reading everyone’s comments on BHP reminded me of the old saying “once is chance, twice is a coincidence, three times a pattern”. Add in “there is no such thing as coincidence”
My memory tells me we have more than three posters express bullish views on BHP, based on charting, long term views of the economy in general, and commodities in particular.
All this while iron ore has been taking a hammering.
I guess we will have many opinions as to whether iron ore will turn around if China continues to stimulate their economy, not to mention the other huge developing economies.
Im definitely no expert, but BHP may be the local blue chip that becomes everyone’s darling if / when the market calls a commodities boom. And if it takes a while, there are always the dividends!
