So no one is completely out or short when there usually is.

Have to go back to start of November 21 to get the same number as the most bearish response.

Not sure if it means anything but does suggest everyone is on the same side of the yacht which is fine until the wind changes direction.

The start of this big run in the SPX ( end of October 23 ) NAIM number was 24.8 ( 104 now ) and the most bearish response was -200

So everyone was bearish and the bad news didn't come and the wind changed.

Helps explain why the contrarian method works sometimes as you get a big move if everyone is on one side.

Everyone can also be right and for a long time.
