That's the US unemployment rate cutting the 20 month EMA - now it has dropped back below.
Will it cut back up again ? The FED cut rates at this point in 2000, 2007 and well before in 2019 from a much lower rate.
SPX leading up though if unemployment spikes then it has some real catching up to the downside.
It may have predicted a soft landing into lowering rates but US house prices are dropping and that will have a large impact on the consumer in my mind.
