this is a jump to conclusions market, it has been the past long as I can remember.
I think over-globalisation as well as the internet has led to this.
it reminds me of what the media outlets dubbed as ''the greek crisis'' a couple of years ago, financial commentary told us that the world will end because of Greece's economic woes and markets believed it for quite some time, until it was just forgotten about one day.
in this ''tariff trade war'' example, we should be letting the tariff changes spill onto company earnings first, then decide if we're struggling or not.
meanwhile we're expecting an extremely strong earnings season, even though company reports demonstrate the true health of the economy, we seem to look past that, we prefer to speculate on the future , jump to conclusions
