@eieio - enjoyed that article - how many times as we watch the markets can we see things that are highly irregular but we all "know" there is no such thing as insider trading because people can go to jail for that. ....
But all these shonky products that are sold to the public all attract commissions and as I was holding forth in my notes this morning, I see that is the root of the problem. Saw it all years ago and made me walk away from the industry. I used to say people would crawl over dead bodies for commission - you can imagine how I felt this morning when I saw that one account had been debited for ten years after the client had died!!
