interesting to note @gj0201 that the average folk at around retirement age has around $200k in Super (men 260k, women 150k)...........
and what the figures don't show is that a few still have mortage debts and other debts to offset that figure.
it suggested if u have around this then industry super is probably the best option as SMSF is for above this, as fees and compliance costs add up. Interesting though about 90% SMSF's are not compliant with with paperwork. (sounds like a mess)
