@Bundy I deal in gemstones as a side business/passion.In my humble opinion POZ is the best exposure to quality gemstones on the ASX. Note that the shareprice hasn't really suffered in recent weeks as diamonds are not a commodity that have been trashed on market.
The thing about POZ is its low MC,it's an alluvial operation so CAPEX is minimal ,the MD has plenty of skin in the game and the Ellendale yellows it is chasing are a know stone and rather famous.Last time around Tiffanys paid a premium for exclusive access to the yellows and I think history may well repeat.Their mining leases are already granted and I believe bulk sampling will kick off within weeks.
My gem associates in SE Asia speak highly of POZ and its yellows and eagerly await some of their stones hitting the market.There are no provenance issue,Kimberly Certification will be quickly issued (necessary to move diamonds across international borders or sell them or cut them)
Also in a recent meeting in Singapore one of my contacts mentioned to me that unlike the Argyle pinks Ellendale yellows were more affordable and would be keenly sought by his clientele.I have been holding for months,I have met the MD and he is a driven fellow with plenty of experience in alluvial diamonds and who is putting the company's money to very effective use in preparation for mining and processing rather than in administrative expenses!
