What consequences @CaptainGrumpy ? A large cross bench is the best thing for the people of Australia. If either party gets a majority (especially) across both houses, the effects will not be in Australia's best interest as the special interest groups put pressure on, to get their lunatic ideas adopted.
Haven't voted for a major party for over a quarter of a century and encourage other people do the same. Vote for a minor party (not the Greens) or an independent, to ensure no ramrodding of damaging policy.
As Don Chipp often said "keep the bastards honest"
Of course, the best thing would be to vote for a benevolent dictator - namely me!
