Have a wonderful break in the far north PB, the reef really is a magical place. I remember when we headed north with our boys to Cairns in the early 80s when Port Douglas was just a sleepy little town with the best pie shop ever, people would drive for miles to buy one (Macca's???). Green Island was almost deserted and snorkelling around those crystal clear waters was something I’ll never forget. Lucky you
