There is never much coverage for small caps, they are mostly not lended out for shorting because there just isnt enough liquidity in them to make it worthwhile. CFD stocks are almost exclusively ASX300s.
@Orwell whats all this talk about "dodgy" business? All brokers are regulated by ASIC, and and have AFSLs. Superannuation funds are also controlled by APRA and the ATO whom allow the trading of equities with brokers. A CFD is just a contract between you and the broker. Its a legal contract. So whats the problem?
@soccer5, got any real reasons for thinking that, or is it just your personal belief?
