I like your analogy and can relate to it very much. It is always best to be at that preceding bus stop and get a seat right next to the exit so you can also get off before the crowd.
The crowd may be sheep but they are stronger than any individual trader. Crowds have the power to create trends, never argue with the crowd and try to buck a trend. No mater how strong you are, if you have enough people place their hands on your head and push you down, your knees will buckle!
