Today's day trading pre-market quoted article made a good summary about the immunity of markets to news. This combined with an all time low VIX as mentioned above means rationality is questionable (although that means little).
I'm focusing on quality in small hats rather than jumping on the trend for now. RDM and XTE are speaking to me for now for diversified-ish metals and defence respectively. Outside of these it's cash and a few rising mid-hats, although being ready to bail at a moment's notice is important.
I forgot the point of this post but there you go ha ha. Good luck and tread carefully because the VIX likely won't sleep for long.
