The great thing about the project is that the mine will provide job opportunities for locals & nation-wide.
I do know for a fact that Indians love to talk, but rarely finish the walk.
Case in point, NMDC became Legacy's 50% cornerstone investor in 2011. Huge talks of major acquisitions via lines of credit were promised, but nothing ever came to fruition. Look at the company now.
Time will tell, but I wouldn't bank anything on the Carmichael transaction happening.
