fyi ....imagine the cost saving across large installations if you dont even need a 'fence' to run your perimeter security. All cables and sensors can be installed underground and have the same sensing capabilities as above ground fence mounted ones...
the fft software can detect an exact breach location anywhere along its entire length within say 20mtrs accuracy.....imagine that if you had say 100's and 100's klms of required protection across some random desert somewhere between north and south america and some spare military drone gunships to send to investigate any breaches.....2 futuristic.....i think not.

FYI i see the bigger pic with fft tech and the multiple variations of assets it can protect but agree with ur sentiments wholeheartedly on the way this whole deal has ultimately been approached.
