light bulb moment.  I didn't realise this, but it's extremely difficult to convert bitcoin to cash in large sums.  When demand exceeds supply many fold, the price goes parabolic.  Should this market be far more in equilibrium than it's priced, but for extreme restrictions?   Whoever solves this problem likely pops the bubble, but who knows how far away that is.
