Quick follow up on yesterday discussion re unusual (IMO) GOR trading to which this replies.

happened to play golf today with a guy who introduced himself as an ex funds manager (amazing the sneaky money at humble old Anglesea GC) .... got my interest. Question question from GJ and turns out he is currently semi retired but talked into managing personal finances for a couple of individuals including one who runs a $10B++ fund (guy too busy to do his own $$$) ... GJ > interest.
Last FT role managing funds for the Myer family ... antenna RIGHT up.

Anyway had a great chat at 19th (but unfortunately others around so I couldn't quiz him with everything I wanted).

One thing I did mention was the GOR trading ... he did say casually that in his funds world if they sat around and decided to sell out (he gave QBE as a recent eg.) then they would give order and it could occur ... as sneakily as possible over MONTHS.
he confirmed that the GOR eg. sounded like a large order had been given and was Bot trading (I had to remind him of the acronym LOL) responding to a longer term entry or exit .... our job as always is to determine whether SM is Buyer or seller??

All very interesting; nothing radical; will try to find his name again on the tee sheet and look for a longer fireside chat (or 3).

I note the annoying small trades continued today ... plan to do abit of VSA analysis tomoz.
