Happy new year!
XEC and specs in general showed strength into the close and left a 2% difference to the XJO. That is only a small way in normalising conditions, another 5 trading days like that and the market can sort out where it wants to go!
I for one am glad that trading year is behind us. I did enjoy the last week however as volatility returned and the market started to realise that potential is indeed worth something.
