michaelfranz...i wasn't reffering to 10 years ago(although even then there were signs of strange URGENCE for no serious reason)...merely 4 years (not even but in 2007 through 2008...towards impending GFC)...
you are right in the fact that lots of people don't know how else to make money !
property boom created 'developers' from 'labourers' and 'hairdressers' and ...gave them a sense of 'equality' with 'real deal' bussiness folk and real deal rich crowd...
suddenly they could get 'stuff' through equity and pretend that they own it !
some have burried themselves in debt and of course that they don't want to hear me or you or...talking against further boom...
