Classic put out a Quarterly Report last week and they have voluntarily dropped half (17 blocks) of the Fraser Range tenement E28/1904, probably ahead of the requirement to do so. They dropped it early and then their mates at Guide Resources immediately picked up the dropped blocks before anyone else knew they were vacant.
Guide will probably sell the dropped blocks back to Classic in the future, unless they sell out to cashed up Mark Creasy who has the tenements next door.
Classic has also dropped 4 tenements near Cowarna Rocks which they probably bought from Guide Resources, effectively giving Classic shareholder cash, to Guide, for tenements with little value.
Two other tenements were dropped/ withdrawn further to the north west and I think are no loss to the company.
The company had $112 000 at 31 Dec 2015, and are proposing to spend $70 000 this quarter on exploration. This small amount will not go far in serious exploration. Therefore not much chance of finding anything new out at Fraser Range.
