Seems to me the only way forward is to cosy up to Daiichi Sanko. We have 2 things they would find useful - our royalty stream from Japanese LANI (Inavir) sales and our rest of the world royalty entitlement (to be negotiated) to LANI sales. What we lack are the skills and the heft to get LANI to market before running out of patent life.

DS is the only party with a natural interest in BOTA - either in part or whole. That is where all our effort should go. Plan B - to the extent that it exists - is too horrible to contemplate.
