    I'm trying to be nice given all the name-calling over the last few years.

    I see you mentioned ETFs. ETFs were unknown of course in the 1980 rout, gold was relatively illiquid, not any more. When the punters start selling the ETF's it could unleash a wave of selling that hasn't been anticipated.
